TokenTokens are static place holders for dynamic information. By placing a token on a tracking URL or Affiliate Center page, you can dynamically pass data to a landing page or merchant or display information in the Affiliate Center. For example:
A token for Affiliate ID appears as Affiliate.ID. When I want to pass or display the Affiliate ID number, I simple place [=Affiliate.ID=] in the appropriate area. LinkTrust will swap the token out with the actual Affiliate's ID number.
Commonly used tokens are below. Each Token has specific area in which it works depending on the function being performed in LinkTrust. Tokens always appear in the format: [=Token Name=].
Common Tokens:
Campaign ID: [=CID=]
Affiliate ID: [=Affiliate.ID=]
Sub ID: [=SID=]
Creative ID: [=ADID=]
Transaction ID: [=_TransID=]
Click ID: [=ClickID=]
