Data Retention Policy

Data retention is a complicated balancing act. We understand that maintaining our customer’s data is important to normal business operations. LinkTrust has developed a data retention plan that provides an effective balance between the two following areas of focus for our customers:

Access to data in the system for a sufficient length of time to perform normal business functions
Maintenance of the health and viability of LinkTrust databases to ensure the stability, security, and speed of the system

LinkTrust 7 Data Retention Policy

The following identifies the LinkTrust 6.x Data Retention Policy:

Data Item	Retention	Description
Click Data	2 months	This data is not visible in LinkTrust. If you need this data, please contact LinkTrust Support.
Transaction Details for CPC and CPA Data	10 months	This is the conversion data for each transaction and is viewed in Transaction Details.
Duplicate IP filters for Impression and Clicks	60 days	These filters are configured on a per campaign basis. Duplicate Impression and Click filters are enabled in Filters of your Campaign Details. This raw data is not visible in LinkTrust.
User Logs	12 Months	This is the data displayed for these logs: User Logins, Affiliate Logins, Merchant Logins and Affiliate Export logs.
Transaction Detail (Lead Data)	6 months	This is raw lead data viewable in the Lead Details.

LinkTrust 5.7 Data Retention Policy

The following identifies the LinkTrust 5.7 Data Retention Policy:

Transaction Detail (Lead Data)	12 months	This is raw lead data viewable in Transaction Details.
Duplicate Email Data	12 months	This data is configured on a per campaign basis. Duplicate emails are stored when Filter Duplicate Email Addresses is enabled. This data is not visible in LinkTrust.
Data Delivery to Channel with Server Response Details	90 days	After 90 days, only the channel and the lead it was sent to is viewable. When selecting the View Lead Data of a lead, you only see the channel the lead was sold to after 90 days. This data is viewable in Transaction Details. The server responses for all channel attempts are deleted and you do not see the number of times a lead was sent to a specific channel.
Lead Channel Status Data	6 months	The leads resting state for a channel that the lead was sold to is viewable on the Channel Statistic page for 6 months.
