HelpIconCampaign Traffic Caps

Campaign Traffic Caps allow you to speciffy the number of Approved conversions allowed for a specific campaign.  You have the ability to specify the number of Approved transactions "Per Day, "Per Month, or "In Total.  Once the cap is met, LinkTrust will redirect all new clicks to the parameters specified at the campaign level "Filters" Traffic Cap.  All traffic caps are “soft” or approximate caps, so it is recommended that caps are set accordingly. 

Soft Cap - Once the cap has been met, there is a possibility that other consumers have already clicked through on the campaign's tracking link.  If they clicked through before the cap was met, there is a possibility that the consumer could still convert.  Thus, the approved transaction will be credited to the affiliate. 

Campaign Level Cap:

  1. Select the Edit Campaign for the campaign you wish to add caps.
  2. Select "Traffic Caps" from the left menu. 
  3. Select the Check box "Enable Campaign Traffic Cap"
  4. Select the number of transactions.
  5. Select "Per Day", "Per Month", or "In Total."
  6. Select the Update button.

If you would like to notify the the campaign manager and other users that this campaign cap has met the specifid threshold, you will need to enable the Email Notification settings.
