Affiliate traffic caps allow you to redirect traffic for an affiliate when their approved conversions for a campaign reached the cap amount.  You have the ability to specify the number of Approved transactions "Per Day, "Per Month, or "In Total.  Once the cap is met, LinkTrust will redirect all new clicks to the parameters specified at the campaign level "Filters" Traffic Cap.  All traffic caps are “soft” or approximate caps, so it is recommended that caps are set accordingly. 

Soft Cap - Once the cap has been met, there is a possibility that other consumers have already clicked through on the campaign's tracking link.  If they clicked through before the cap was met, there is a possibility that the consumer could still convert.  Thus, the approved transaction will be credited to the affiliate. 

Affiliate Level Cap:

1. Select the Affiliate Detail for the affiliate you wish to add caps.
2. Select "Assigned Campaigns"
3. Select the Scissors for the campaign you wish to add an affiliate cap.
4. Select the Check box "Enable Affiliate Campaign Traffic Caps"
5. Select the number of transactions.
6. Select "Per Day", "Per Month", or "In Total."
7. Select the Update button.

If you would like to notify the affiliate that their cap has met the specified threshold, you will need to enable the Email Notification settings.
