The Assigned Campaign Edit page allows you to do the following:

• Create a Campaign / Affiliate Centric ID
• Modify Affiliate Payout
• Modify Merchant Revenue
• Modify Campaign Payout by Sub ID
• Block Traffic by Sub ID
• Create a Promo Code White List

Campaign / Affiliate Centric ID

This feature facilitates the passing of a specific ID number to a merchant's landing page based upon a specific campaign and affiliate.  For instance, If Affiliate 123 sends traffic to Campaign 123, you can have a preconfigured ID be appended to the landing page via the [=CACID=] token.  The purpose of this feature is to allow LinkTrust to append ID numbers to a landing page URL which have already been assigned to the affiliate for the campaign within the Merchant’s CRM.  Thus, this feature allows a merchant to easily associate or map the traffic they receive with the clients they already have.  CACID numbers are non-unique and can be up to 100 characters.

To add a Campaign / Affiliate Centric ID:

1. Enter the Affiliate's Details
2. Select Campaigns
3. Select Edit Payout
4. Add or Modify the Campaign / Affiliate Centric ID

Modify Affiliate Payout

To modify the affiliate payout, do the following:

1. If you want to modify the affiliate payout, enter the new payout in the Affiliate Payout field.
2. If you want the payout to begin today, mark Start Today.
Note: If you mark today, all transaction that have occured today will have the new payout applied to it.  If you do not mark Start Today, the new payout will begin the following day.
3. If you want to auto approve transactions, mark Auto Approve Transactions.
4. Select Update.

Modify Merchant Revenue

To modify the merchant revenue, do the following:

1. Mark Override Merchant Revenue.
2. In the Merchant Revenue field, enter the new payout.
3. Select Update.

Modify Campaign Payout by Sub ID

The payout by sub ID is based on the value found in the sub ID parameter on the tracking link. LinkTrust does not recognize each individual sub ID value separately, but considers the entire value after the SID parameter as one value. This means that multiple sub IDs are also recognized as a single value.

For example, in the following tracking link, LinkTrust recognizes the SID value as 1:

On the following tracking link, LinkTrust recognizes the SID value as 1,2,3,4,5

http://Tracking Domain/click.track?CID=100038&AFID=100001&SID=1,2,3,4,5 

1,2,3,4,5 may be five different sub IDs, but LinkTrust considers it one value, just as it recognizes the SID parameter value of 1 in the first tracking link as one value.

If you want the affiliate to be paid the custom payout for every instance that their sub ID appears after the SID parameter on the tracking link, then you must include every instance that 1 will show up in the value after the SID parameter in the Sub ID fields under Payout by Sub ID.

For example, if you enter 1 in the Sub ID 1 field, the only time your affiliate receives the custom payout is when the SID parameter is 1 as shown in the following:

But if you receive a tracking link like the following, the affiliate using sub ID 1 will NOT receive the new payout, unless you have also entered 1,2,3,4,5 in the Sub ID field under Payout by Sub ID, because 1,2,3,4,5 is the SID parameter:

http://Tracking Domain/click.track?CID=100038&AFID=100001&SID=1,2,3,4,5 

To use Payout by Sub ID, you must enter every possible sub ID combination you might receive as the SID parameter value. Using the same example, to give the affiliate of sub ID 1 the custom payout for each time sub ID 1 appears as the value of the SID parameter, you must enter the following sub ID parameter value possibilities under Payout by Sub ID in separate Sub ID fields:

This way, each time sub ID 1 appears in the SID parameter value, the affiliate will receive the custom payout.

To modify the campaign payout by sub ID, do the following:

1. If you want to modify the campaign payout by sub ID, enter all the possible combinations of sub ID(s) in the Sub ID fields.
2. In the Affiliate Payout field, enter the new affiliate payout.
3. In the Merchant Revenue field, enter the new merchant revenue.
4. Select Update.

Block Traffic by Sub ID

To block traffic by sub ID, do the following:

1. To block traffic by sub ID, enter the sub ID in the Block Traffic by Sub ID field.
Note: You must enter each sub ID on a separate row.
2. Select Update.

Note: Make sure you enter a redirect on the Filters page under Campaign.

Create a Promo Code White List

The Promo Code option allows you to better manage your promotional codes for the Affiliate.  

Only transactions with the specified White Listed promotional code are approved for the Affiliate. By default, all transactions without a promotional code are always approved. This feature only applies to transactions with a promotional code.

Note: Each promotional code must be entered on a separate line.

Note: Creating a promo code black list under Promo Code Enforcement, on the campaigns filters page, disables your affiliate promo code white list created on the affiliate campaign page for this campaign.

To create a white list that applies to a specific affiliate for a specific campaign, do the following:

1. From the top menu, select Affiliate.
2. From the left menu, select Search.
3. On the Affiliate Search page, search for the affiliate you want to create a white list for.
4. From the search results table, select for Affiliate Details.
5. From the left menu, select Campaigns.
6. Under the campaign you wish to create a white list for, select    for Campaign Edit.
7. On the Assigned Campaign Edit page under Promo Code White List, enter the allowed promo codes for this affiliate of this campaign.
Note: Each promotional code must be entered on a separate line.
8. Select Update.
